Student Tech

Robertson is a 1:1 computing campus. Each student has a dedicated device for use while in school.

Technology use should ALWAYS be tied into current curriculum and is not a means of reward or free time.

Students must ALWAYS be closely monitored when using technology.

Student login information:

Username: s + id number

Password : - see below

• Kinder: two numbers, each repeated four times (ex. 22224444)
• First: three numbers, each repeated three times (ex. 222333444)
• Second: pattern of three numbers repeated three times (ex. 123123123)
• Third: two random 4-letter words (ex. BALLDUCK)
• Fourth: two random words plus a number (ex. BALLDUCK1)
• Fifth: three letters, four letters, and a number (ex. SITBALL4)

Each classroom teacher has a spreadsheet (_class.csv) in their H: drive. This file is updated nightly with new students and withdrawals.

Passwords will change each year.

Note: Student folders are deleted at the end of the school year.

Teachers have read access only to student folders.

Only those students who have parent permission for GAFE will have active Google accounts.

Check the list in the Student Network Accounts folder for a list of students NOT granted various permissions by parents.

Student Broadcast:

Tryouts held in May each year, open to fourth going to fifth grade.

Student teams rotate throughout the year.

Students broadcasters should be punctual at 7:25 a.m.

Send all announcements at least 24 hours in advance to Debby Acevedo.

Broadcast begins at 7:35 daily.

Minecraft Club:

Open to a limited number of 5th graders.

Meetings Wednesdays 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Students must provide their own transportation.
