Well, I don't "give" grades, they are simply documentation and communication of your progress in class.
Here are the following basic grading categories:
Major Grade: 50%
Projects: the actual art-making part of class
Projects are graded on rubrics based on Creativity and Craftsmanship
Daily Grade: 50%
Sketchbooks: warm up exercises and practice work
Other: self-analysis and peer feedback
Late Project? You should have plenty of time in class to complete all projects, but if more time is needed check in with Ms.Mann to make arrangements.
Make-Up Work? Yes. Check in with Ms.Mann for options.
