Welcome to Art! We will create some amazing projects this year, including drawings, paintings, and sculptures. Students will learn the value of the visual arts in the world. By creating, viewing, and discussing art, students will become confident in their own artwork and visual self-expression. It is our goal that all students become visual problem solvers and practice creative thinking skills to better prepare them for the careers of tomorrow.
Students will find assignments for when they are absent, resources, and some smaller assignments on Schoology.

The PRMS Art Department collects a $30 supply fee. This covers all art supplies for the year.
We are able to buy supplies in bulk through art suppliers, so a supply fee is more economical and easier than having each family purchase the correct supplies individually. This supply fee helps to ensure that your child has the supplies they need for a successful year in art.
This year, families will pay the supply fee online ~ www.rrisdpay.com *Due by September 16.
*In addition to your own student's fee, if you are interested in sponsoring a child who needs financial assistance, you may add a donation to your online payment.*
