***PLEASE NOTE that African-American Ethnic Studies is not AP, but it is an advanced-level course, with high expectations for student participation, writing, and discussion, for which students will receive GPA boosts.
If this expectation doesn’t match what you expected when you signed up for the course - let’s talk! My class is designed such that any high school student can take and pass the course if they are willing to try something new, and I’m sure you can too. This course will give students tools to succeed in the next level of Social Studies classes, whether they are AP, ACC, or on-level.
