Hi, I am Teresa Daugherty and this year I will be working with6th grade and 7th grade (A-L). This is my 18th year as an educator, having served at both the High School and Middle School level. I am a graduate of Howard Payne University where I played volleyball and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. I have a M.Ed. from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, and I am currently working on my Licensed Professional Counseling Certification through Sul Ross State University. I look forward to being a member of the Grizzly Family and working with you!

Este es mi dieciochoavo como educador, habiendo trabajado tanto en la escuela secundaria como en la escuela intermedia. Hi Grizzlies, I am excited to be starting my 10th year at Grisham! This year, I will be working with 7th grade (M-Z) and all of 8th grade. This is my 24th year as an educator and my 16th year at the middle school level. I attended University of Houston for my bachelor's degree-Go Coogs!!! and Texas State University-Go Bobcats!!!for my master's degree. I work with a canine co-counselor named Mr. Pickles. Mr. Pickles is a 8 year old Havanese who works with students on Thursdays and occasionally will co-present guidance lessons.

In 2016, The Lone Star State School Counselor Association (LSSSCA) developed a progressive awards system that includes three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Each level is met with increased levels of rigor designed to elevate school counselor programs to national recognition through The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) awards. Schools receiving the LSSSCA Bronze, Silver or Gold award demonstrated outstanding comprehensive counseling programs that were data-driven, focused on goal completion and aligned to the ASCA National Model.
