1:1 ChromebookS
Round Rock ISD is proud to announce that we provide students a district-issued Chromebook to promote consistency and equitable access for all of our students. Students are expected to bring their Chromebook to school with them each day. If your child has not yet checked out a Chromebook, they can check one out from their campus.
Leaving RRISD?: You must turn in your Chromebook and charger to a RRISD school.
Headed to another RRISD School?: You take your device and charger with you
Returning to Deerpark?: You will keep and charge your Chromebook over the summer and bring is back in the fall. *Missing/broken items will incur a repair/replacement fee in the fall
Dear Ranger Family-
If you are a new student that needs a Chromebook Device from RRISD, as part of our 1:1 initiative, you must:
1. Complete the online enrollment for Round Rock ISD and accept the Chromebook Terms and or complete Device Agreement on paper if you were unable to select "YES" for the Device Agreement question or have trouble getting your Snapcode (Lisa_Szostek@roundrockisd.org)
2. Devices for new students will be distributed during the 1st full week of school
3. Students coming to school with loss or repair, will be processed during the 1st week of school. We will not process before that time. Please be prepared to pay the fines for lost or broken devices/chargers before replacements are given.

FAQ
What happens if I lose or break (beyond repair) my device or lose my charging cord?
Please see the ITS for replacement purchase directions
What happens if I forget to bring my device/charger to school or it runs out of power?
You have 3 chances per semester to borrow a laptop from the library. This device is to be turned in at the end of the day and you will not be given a charger. Devices kept overnight count towards your 3 days.
There is a charger in each classroom if you are need of charging in class. We do not loan chargers.
