The JV Treble Choir is a treble (Soprano/Alto) ensemble comprised of 7th and 8th grade students. This is a non-auditioned choir for female singers. The JV Treble Choir competes at UIL Contest and Sight-Reading Competition in the Spring in addition to their Fall, Winter, and Spring Concert Performances. Students will learn to sight-read using solfege (Do-Re-Mi) and will focus on healthy singing and music literacy. This is a great class for both experienced and new choir members who enjoy (or think they might enjoy) singing. 7th and 8th grade girls will be wearing a black concert dress that I will provide and there is a $20 cleaning fee which must be collected before it has been handed out. In addition to the dress girls are required to wear black closed toe dress shoes. If you choose to wear a heel it must be no more than 1 inch in height.
