The school year 2026-2027 will be my 19th year of teaching at CVMS! This is my 28th year (overall) teaching choir in the public school system (Garland ISD, NYC Department of Education, Round Rock ISD). I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve in the Westwood Learning Community. We strive to encourage Discipline, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork through music study and performance.

Mrs. Vara
Mrs. Vara is beginning her 9th year of teaching. Mrs. Vara spent four years working part time at both Grisham MS and Canyon Vista MS. She has worked at Laurel Mountain Elementary for the last 4 years (Thank You LME! - you guys are Amazing and I will miss you!!) Although she cherished her time at LME, Mrs. Vara is very excited to return full time to the place where she began her classroom teaching journey! Go Mustangs!!!
