Community and industry arts partners play an important role in the promotion of arts education in Round Rock ISD through their membership on the Council of the Arts (COTA) Advisory Board.

A representative of the partner organization is asked to attend 3-4 meetings a year, usually between 11:30-1:30pm (lunch provided!). These meetings provide opportunities for partners to engage in conversations related to RRISD arts initiatives with RRISD students, staff and other arts leaders in the Central Texas community. This dialogue informs decision making both at the district and individual campus level.

COTA partners also have unique networking opportunities and access to arts educators through participation in district sponsored events. COTA partners are also recognized on a dedicated page of the COTA website, with links to their organization’s webpages.
