The Round Rock ISD “Council of the Arts” is an advisory board that consists of community arts partners, arts industry members, Round Rock ISD students - including all HS VPA Academy Ambassadors, teachers, parents and administrators. The council meets multiple times throughout the year to connect and discuss current and on-going projects, and focus on overall objectives. The officers for the organization include a chairperson, co-chairperson, secretaries and ex officio members.
The RRISD Council for the Arts was formed to bring together the arts community, teachers, students and administrators to PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND ADVOCATE for the strong and innovative visual and performing arts programs throughout the Round Rock Independent School District. Through this connection, strong relationships are built with existing arts organizations throughout our community where guidance and advice can be received and resources can be shared to benefit all.
