Examples of the donations (both monetary and in-kind) that the arts community partners on the council are continually providing to help to expand the visual and performing arts programs at RRISD:

• curriculum and teacher training

• assistance with obtaining funds for students and programs

• awareness of outside programs for prospective students and families to enhance their skills

• student internships and scholarships

• employee volunteer time spent working on advisory board objectives

• supplies and equipment to work with the existing course curriculum

• conference passes, tickets to events that align with course curriculum

• web-based links and resources relating to visual and performing arts

• facilitate networking with other industry professionals

• assist with experiential learning activities for all visual and performing arts students; bridging the gap between the classroom, and the “real world”

• advocate for facilities that promote excellence in visual and performing arts programming and learning
