Vision Statement
The Counselors at Cedar Valley Middle School will empower the scholars to transition to High School and Beyond, with a rigorous skill set that promotes personal inquiry, social responsibility and academic excellence. School Counselors will foster an inclusive community of lifelong learners through the support of a comprehensive school counseling program. Through advocacy, partnership and collaboration, School Counselors will work to ensure an equitable process to assist our students to become globally competitive lifelong learners.

Through the comprehension guidance program at Cedar Valley Middle School, Counselors will strive to create a safe and nurturing environment. All students regardless of varying competencies will have equal access in the areas of Social/Emotional, Academic, Personal and Career Growth in their quest to become responsible and contributing citizens in order to excel.
