Happy Monday!
We have a lot of things happening this month.
First thing, the first part of the fees were technically due last Friday, but the shirt still has not been added to the online payment portal. At this point, I am going to extend the date to pay for the Choir Shirt to 9/26/25 and it will need to be paid by either cash or check. That fee is $20.
The other fee that was due last week is the supply fee, however I did not send out a reminder for that fee, so I am extending the deadline for that fee to 9/26/25 as well. The supply fee is $20 and can be paid via cash, check, or online.
All of the dates for the fees are located in your handbook, but just in case you forgot, here they are again.
$20 - Supply Fee (ALL STUDENTS DUE SEPTEMBER 5TH) this covers music, pencils, binders, performance costs, etc.
$20 - Choir Shirt (ALL STUDENTS DUE SEPTEMBER 5TH)
$20 - Uniform Fee* (ALL STUDENTS DUE OCTOBER 3RD)
$20 - After Dark Shirt (ALL STUDENTS DUE MARCH 6TH)
$60 - Show Choir (ONLY FOR HEADLINERS DUE OCTOBER 3RD)
$25 - TMEA audition entry (ONLY FOR STUDENTS AUDITIONING DUE AUGUST 25TH)
$20 - UIL Solo & Ensemble Entry - (ONLY FOR STUDENTS PARTICIPATING DUE DECEMBER 1ST)

9/9 - Back to School Choir Bash
9/13 - District Auditions (an email was sent out earlier today to participating families)
9/24 - Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally (more information to come soon)
9/25 - Fall Concert
Back to School Choir Bash: This is our back to school social where we make team posters, play games, and most importantly eat snacks. This event is taking place in the choir room from 4:30-7:00 on Tuesday, September 9th. This event is only open to CRHS Choir students. If anyone is interested in donating some pre-packaged snacks and/or water bottles for this event, the student will earn points for their team. Immediately following the social will be the booster club meeting, so please be sure to pick up your students on time.
We are looking forward to having our concert on September 25, 2025.
For our concert, we have our students stay after school. All Choir students will meet in the auditorium at 4:30 for a rehearsal.
4:30 - Concert Treble
4:45 - Concert TB
4:55 - V TB
5:05 - BC
5:15 - V Treb
5:30 -Chorale
5:45 - Alma
6:00 - Dinner
6:30 - Places/Doors Open
7:00 - Concert Begins
8:00 - Concert Ends and All students should be picked up.
Concert attire:
Choir Shirt - will be handed out the week of the concert
Blue Jeans - no rips, holes, fraying
Tennis Shoes - any color
Dinner will be provided for our students. It will consist of Bush's Chicken Tender Rolls and Water. If this dinner does not fit your student's dietary restrictions, please plan to provide something else for your student.
During the rehearsal time, there is an expectation that all students are in the auditorium and not wandering around. While in the auditorium they will have two options of things to do. 1. They are encouraged to use the time when they are not on stage to work silently on homework. 2. They may silently be on their phones and/or watching the rehearsal.
During the performance, students are expected to have their phones turned off and put away. CRHS Choir students will be expected to leave their phones in their backpacks. Their backpacks will be held in the choir room during the concert and the room will be locked.
