During PE your child will participate in variety of activities which improve their fitness, coordination, and overall wellness while developing their teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship skills. We do lots of fun, skill-based learning!
Wear athletic shoes with rubber soles.
Send a note or email if your student needs to sit out of class.
Bring a labeled and filled water bottle.
Practice shoe tying!!
Gym shoes enclosing the entire foot are needed on physical education days to help prevent injuries and help keep your child safe.
Please avoid flip-flops, slides, Crocs, sandals & boots on PE days.
Need to know when your child has PE?
If your child need to be excused for more than one week, please have your child's doctor write a note with instructions.
Proper hydration is critical to a healthy body! Please help your student have a filled water bottle labeled with their name everyday!
The coaches are greatly outnumbered so it's incredibly helpful when students wearing laced shoes are able to tie their own shoes! Learning to tie is challenging and takes time, but your student's boost in confidence and independence is worth it!
