Coach B

Teaching and empowering the youth is my passion. Elementary students are fun, engaging, and never fail to surprise me. I am excited to be a role model in the school and throughout the communities for all the boys and girls. Through support and encouragement, students will learning nutrition, physical education, and most importantly confidence (safety of course as well).  I am thrilled to welcome new and returning Owls to our amazing school and gym we call home!

This will be my 2nd year teaching PE at Caraway, and my 3rd teaching. I high school and middle school math previously in the US Peace Corps in Guinea (West Africa). It taught me too much to share in words. To sum it up though, I live everyday with a grateful heart. Originally from Minnesota where I received a dual Bachelors Degree in International Economics & Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. I also hold an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin. I have an unbelievable supportive wife, Natasha, and an adventurous loving 2nd Grade grader son named Hugo who mean the world to me. 

Interesting things about me:

I am a former professional soccer player and Austin FC season ticket holder. My favorite fruit is a banana and I love scuba diving.

To this day I have imposter syndrome being a teacher. Yet, all my friends, familiy members, and co-workers say I was born to teach. I guess that's why I am here! Plus, I love it :) I like to contribute toe a community where "Owl are Welcome"!
