Getting to know Mrs. Vernon

I've been married to my wonderful computer programmer husband, Dan, for 34 years! We are high school sweethearts and have two children, David and Laura. I've been at Cactus Ranch for 17 years now, and I've taught kindergarten 16 out of the 27 years I’ve been teaching. (Psst...I LOVE TEACHING KINDERGARTEN...) I love to play boardgames with my family. I enjoy camping and hiking. I love listening to music and going to the movies. I'm a big Star Wars fan of the original movies that came out when I was in elementary school. My family LOVES to play boardgames. I'm a licensed HAM (Amateur Radio Operator). My call sign is KF5EBM.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family this school year and developing our new classroom relationships. Kindergarten is a fun and exciting year and I plan to make this year an innovative and nurturing one, filled with rich and vibrant learning experiences for your child!
