I am excited to teach fourth grade this year. This is my second year teaching at Cactus Ranch and I am passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired to do their best.
A little about me: I was born in India in a sleepy, little city named Mangalore (close to the Arabian Sea and filled with coconut trees). I spent many summer holidays there with cousins and my Grandma. I went to school in Dubai, U.A.E (situated on the Persian Gulf and filled with date palm trees).
I moved to Minnesota with my husband, Neil in 2004 and then relocated to Texas ten years ago along our four boys, after spending 12 years in Minnesota (The Land of 10,000 lakes). We have a 5 yr old German Shepherd named Addie who loves to go on long walks and car rides.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, baking and traveling. I would love to visit every spanish speaking country in my pursuit to learn the language. This summer we spent our time trying out all the different Texas BBQ and boba places.
My goal this year is to help each student grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I encourage open communication and welcome your questions or concerns at any time. Together, we will make this a successful and memorable year!
