Mrs. Paz

About Me:

My name is Kaitlyn Paz and this is my second year at Elsa England Elementary. I just got married over the summer so you might know me as Ms. D! (My emails will still say Douthit). My husband and I have 3 dogs Scarlet, Artemis, and Bella. We love to go on hikes and go to the lake with our dogs. I am also a Latin Dance instructor and teach Salsa and Bachata dance classes to adults all around the Austin area.

I have always loved to sing yet I got my start in music by joining the band in middle school! I stayed in band all the way through college, where I fell in love with teaching elementary music. I love to sing, dance, and play instruments and I share the love of this in my classes!

I graduated Texas State University with my bachelors in Music Education! I have spent my entire teaching career in Round Rock ISD and this is my second year at Elsa England! I have continued my education by participating in the Kodaly Music Educators training over the summers.
