The mission of the Round Rock ISD PYP Library is to collaborate with teachers and others to provide age-appropriate resources and meaningful learning experiences at point of need; to advocate reading improvement by fostering an interest in literature and reading; and to empower all students to become lifelong learners with a global perspective.Â

How the Library Supports the IB-PYP Programme
The library supports our Anderson Mill Elementary IB-PYP Programme in a variety of ways:
Teaching access to and appropriate use of research resources
Providing print and digital materials to support classroom-led IB units
Tying lessons and read-alouds to the IB Learner Profile
Assisting fifth grade teachers and students with their IB Exhibition projects through organization and research skill lessons
Curating a collection that reflects global perspectives
Promoting lifelong literacy and learning
