Whenever you make use of someone else's work, you should make a reference to the original work in your essay and add the resource to your bibliography.
You could use:
Google Citations (in the Tools menu) - select the APA format.

There are two steps:
An inline citation - e.g., ‘the children of America's civil rights generation came of age.’ (McClay 2021).
And then at the end of your essay, a Bibliography entry - e.g.,
