Our Motto

#HaveCourageBeKind

At Rosebery our Year 7 motto is to 'Have Courage and Be Kind'. It is really important to us that our motto is not just a poster on the wall, but something we incorporate into everything we do. We want our Year 7 students to demonstrate it each and every day!

Year 7 is all about getting to know Rosebery and provides an exciting opportunity for making new friends. Therefore, there is no better time to shine with kindness. At Rosebery we are a community and being kind to one another is extremely important to us, so throughout the academic year we will continue to challenge you to demonstrate kindness both within and outside of our school community.

We also want you to always try your best and be the best version of yourself. To us, having courage means just that: being resilient, keeping going when faced with a challenge, sharing ideas in and outside of the classroom and using our initiative to contribute to making Rosebery great! You'll find so many opportunities throughout Year 7 to be courageous, build your resilience, work outside your comfort zone and so much more!

We look forward to seeing you embrace and embody our motto throughout Year 7 as you immerse yourself into Rosebery life.
