Create a Google Doc to practice learning to write these sentences. Learn your spelling words and then do the Spelling Test. Check how many words you have correct and write the words you have wrong, ten times. Write all these spelling words into a sentence.
Use one sentence starter each day. Remember to write interesting sentences. Write at least 2 paragraphs. Use your imagination. Click on the picture to choose one sentence starter for each day. Ask yourself questions: What? When? Where? Who? Why? How? You have 10-15 mins to write. Below are questions to help you.
What is the name of your NZ Olympic Athlete? What is their natural talent? What makes your athlete have a competitive drive? How is your athlete coordinated and disciplined? What does your athlete do to practice and train? What achievements have they made leading up to the Olympic Games?

Overview: Lamb’s brother and sister are relying on him to perform with them in the church talent quest. But the only final Lamb cares about is the final match of the season for Manu Sāmoa. Unfortunately, the two events clash. Lamb learns a lesson about the importance of being responsible and following through on commitments – and being truthful.
