Our first event; "Welcome to Romsey" is for all parents & children and will be held on Thursday 16th April. This will involve a welcome to the school from the Headteacher and an insight into life here from our Year 7 Ambassadors. We will also outline the details of all the transition events that will take place to support your child. Senior Leaders and our Year 7 Primary School Ambassadors will also be on hand on the night to answer any questions you might have. 

The reason that we start transition so early compared to other schools is that we are aware that the next term will involve lots of potential challenges for your child, particularly with the imminent Key Stage Two SATs etc. Therefore, we hope that the "Welcome to Romsey" event will put your child's mind at ease with regard to their next school, enabling them to focus on the term whilst look forward to September with confidence.
