Students who have opted to take Advanced 6th grade math, based on test data and family support, will learn on grade level TEKS and above grade level TEKS will be incorporated into the curriculum. On this pathway, they will take the 6th grade STAAR in 6th grade, and plan to take the 8th grade STAAR assessment as a 7th grade student. Therefore, they will not take the 7th grade STAAR assessment.
