Baylor TIP’s mission is to identify students with exceptional talent in STEM and the humanities and provide them with world-class learning opportunities commensurate with those students’ exceptional potential. Baylor TIP focuses on both the identification of talent through our assessments and the opportunity to develop talents and interests through customized educational recommendations and out-of-school programs.
We offer a variety of programs that inspire and engage 3rd-12th graders with inquiry-based, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content. All camps are held on campus at UT Austin and allow students to explore the 40 acres, tour research labs, visit with engineers, swim at Gregory Gym, and more! Camps include the UT PREP Summer STEM Pathway as well as Chemistry, Research in Life Sciences, and Space Camp. Seats are first come, first served, so grab a spot while you can! We can't wait to learn with you this summer!
The Aquatic Science Adventure Camp run by the Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center at Texas State University is a long-running overnight and day camp program that emphasizes science and adventure. Campers will have the opportunity to do adventure activities such as SCUBA, snorkeling, river rafting, and exploring a wild cave. Science activities vary by age, but may include water chemistry, mussel hunts, Aquifers 101, macroinvertebrates, and more. Here we embody the motto "Real Science, Real Fun" and work with active researchers to present programs. Come join us for a week of learning and fun!
