Invites you to the 19th annual Pioneer Days at Old Settlers Association in Round Rock on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 am – 3 pm. Last year and previous years sponsored in part by the City of Round Rock , the event is free and open to the public. Old Settlers Association is located at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. Across Harrell Parkway from The Salt Lick BBQ.
Visitors will be able to dip candles, churn butter, make corn husk dolls and rag balls and wander through reenactment camps and chuck wagon areas. There will be live music, pioneer games, historic house tours and a fully stocked general store.

Baylor TIP’s mission is to identify students with exceptional talent in STEM and the humanities and provide them with world-class learning opportunities commensurate with those students’ exceptional potential. Baylor TIP focuses on both the identification of talent through our assessments and the opportunity to develop talents and interests through customized educational recommendations and out-of-school programs.
We offer a variety of programs that inspire and engage 3rd-12th graders with inquiry-based, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content. All camps are held on campus at UT Austin and allow students to explore the 40 acres, tour research labs, visit with engineers, swim at Gregory Gym, and more! Camps include the UT PREP Summer STEM Pathway as well as Chemistry, Research in Life Sciences, and Space Camp. Seats are first come, first served, so grab a spot while you can! The Aquatic Science Adventure Camp run by the Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center at Texas State University is a long-running overnight and day camp program that emphasizes science and adventure. Campers will have the opportunity to do adventure activities such as SCUBA, snorkeling, river rafting, and exploring a wild cave. Science activities vary by age, but may include water chemistry, mussel hunts, Aquifers 101, macroinvertebrates, and more. Here we embody the motto "Real Science, Real Fun" and work with active researchers to present programs. Come join us for a week of learning and fun!
The Youth Adventure Program (YAP) is a series of one-week courses designed to encourage career exploration in fields of interest to gifted-and-talented students. The camp is open to any student entering 7th through 12th grade in the Fall of 2025. YAP applicants are typically students who are highly motivated to learn, think, and solve problems, and they typically have a strong interest in going to a college, university, and/or professional school. Each YAP participant selects one area of interest and studies that area for the weeklong session, receiving in-depth insights into the experiences of professionals in that particular field. Applicants are admitted on a first-come basis.
Aggie STEM Summer camps are held at Texas A&M University in College Station. Aggie STEM campers are typically advanced students who reflect the core values of Texas A&M University and have a strong interest in STEM related fields. Registration is on a first-come basis. Overnight Camps are one-week camps designed to encourage the exploration of STEM-focused project-based learning (PBL). Camps are geared towards students entering 6th through 12th grade in the Fall of 2025. Day Camps are Monday-Friday camps designed to encourage the exploration of STEM-focused project-based learning (PBL). Camps are geared towards students entering 2nd through 5th grade in the Fall of 2025.
The Sader Scholars program is a competitive, week-long residential experience designed for high-achieving students before or after their senior year of high school, eager to explore the academic and student life at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. From July 11-18, 2025, students will become immersed in college-level coursework, engage in campus activities, and enjoy the vibrant community of UMHB in Central Texas.
