Work Experience

Work Experience is essential. It gives an insight into the industry being considered. It helps develop skills required in the work place and gives students the opportunity to network. In many industries work experience is a vital part of the application process. It is valued by employers and universities and evidences enthusiasm and research for specific careers on CVs and personal statements. In the absence of real work experience in the work place, virtual work experience can be just as valuable. Many opportunities are advertised on the weekly sixth form bulletin.
