In the fall of 2023, Rocky Hill Country Day School 5th Grade students spent time with local Potowomut historian and expert forensic metal detectorist, Mr. David Thatcher. The students spent most of the day with "Mr. T." discovering local history and treasure hunting on the Hopelands Estate. They were thrilled to discover the artifacts below:
