The primary goal of the Teacher Librarian is to promote academic growth and foster lifelong love for learning and reading.

The Nebbie Williams Elementary School Library is the heart of our learning community, fostering and inspiring literacy leaders. The Teacher Librarian, an integral part of instructional teams, collaborates intentionally with teachers on curriculum design and delivery. The Teacher Librarian maintains a professionally developed collection of print and digital materials which meets our community's unique needs. The Teacher Librarian assists all staff and students in locating resources to support academic need or promote personal interests. The Teacher Librarian models and teaches information literacy, digital citizenship, inquiry, research, problem solving, and critical thinking skills empowering learners to make ethical, informed choices in an increasingly complex and evolving global environment.
