My name is Veronica Poylangada and I have been working in Dennis B. O’Brien as a fifth grade elementary school teacher for 25 years. I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a masters in education. Prior to that, I earned a bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey, with a major in political science and a minor in German. Although I don’t get to practice my German anymore, I am fluent in Spanish.
As I enter my 26th year at DBO, I reflect upon how much I have grown as an educator. This is thanks to the amazing families and staff members that I have had the pleasure to work with, as well as the programs and committees I have been able to partake in throughout these years in our district. We at DBO are a strong family and I couldn’t be more honored to be part of it.
