Expectations:
Welcome to our math and science page!
I am so excited to start our new school year! It doesn't matter whose homeroom you are in. It is our motto that we are ONE. We are fifth grade!
Remember that you are learning and mistakes are expected. The key is knowing how to proceed moving forward. As always:
1. Copy your homework in your agenda. Although you can always check homework online, your agenda is key, especially since it carries all your usernames and passwords for all the programs that we use in school. Remember that you can also phone a classmate as a backup plan.
2. Come prepared to class. Visit the school supplies tab to see what you will need this year.
3. Keep up with your studies. Besides daily math assignments, we have a lot of long-term assignments. Please do not wait until the last minute, especially if you have extracurricular activities.
4. Try your best. If you are unsure of an assignment, give it a try. I rather see that you made an attempt instead of handing in a blank paper. Besides, it gives me a starting point as to how I can better help you.
5. We are a team! It's not only okay to ask for help, but it is important that you do. We are all here to help each other.
See you in class!
