VHSL Academic Activity
ESPORTS is an offically sanctioned VHSL Academic Activity. Starting in the 2025-26 school year there will be 2 Season for kids to participate in. The Fall season will consisit of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and League of Legends. ERHS will only be participating in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at this time for the fall seasons. In the Spring VHSL will host both Rocket League and Mario Kart 8.

Here are some common queries about our esports program under VHSL:
Eligibility: Students maintain VHSL activity eligibility.
Schedule: Practices and competitions occur after school, supervised by our coaches.
Online Competitions: No travel is required; all matches take place online. (except for the last round of the playoffs and championship.)
Team Entries: Schools may enter multiple teams for each game title competition.
Seasons: We offer Fall (September – December) and Spring (January – April) seasons.
