Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones should not be seen or heard, unless expressly directed to use them (for example the Word Reference App, Quizlet, Duolingo, or for recording assignments). Appropriate and academic use of electronics is encouraged and is allowed with teacher permission only. Devices should be kept in backpacks unless given permission. If you are on your phone during the lesson or work time, I will give you 1 warning. After that warning, I will keep your device for the rest of the period. If the problem continues, I may collect your device at the beginning of each class period.

Cell phones are a resource that can be used to keep a planner (Google Calendar, for example) for organizational skills.

I recommend you download these apps: Google Classroom, Google Calendar (unless you use a paper planner), Word Reference, and Quizlet.
