K-5 Grades
All students in kindergarten through 5th grade will have art class once a week throughout the entire school year. The art curriculum is such that the basics of art and design are introduced in kindergarten and first grades then built upon each year, furthering an understanding of concepts, techniques, methods, vocabulary, art history, and expression of creativity. Students will create their own artwork, sometimes referencing the styles of famous artists and other times producing artwork as a reflection of their personal art exploration.
