Regular submission deadline has been extended to April 12, 2026!
We invite short papers in IEEE Conference paper format (up to 4 pages including figures, excluding references). Note that additional appendices may be included, but the reviewers will not be obliged to read them. The review process will be single blind, so the workshop submissions need not be anonymized.
We welcome submissions within the broad areas of optimization, optimal control, planning and estimation in relation to robotics. We encourage the submission of early ideas, late-breaking results, position papers, or open research questions that are likely to generate interesting discussions. All submitted contributions will go through a single-blind review process.
All accepted papers are expected to be presented in a poster session and will be featured on the workshop website. Some selected contributions will also be introduced in lightning talks during the workshop.
We encourage submissions from young researchers, women, minorities, and members of other underrepresented groups.
Examples of topics of interest:
New solvers targeted to robotics use cases
Novel use cases of optimization within robotics
Optimality or convergence guarantees, complexity bounds, etc. for robotics use cases
Differentiable, non-smooth, and global optimization for robotics
Zero-order, first-order and second-order optimization
Differentiable, large-scale simulation for robotics (e.g., training gyms)
Parallel and distributed optimization for robotics
