Borrowing items from the RNN Group Learning Hubs

• You can borrow books, DVDs, computer games  and other materials by finding them on the shelf and taking them to the issue desk with your ID card. 

Self Service issue and return. 

• You can also use the self service machines that are found in each of the Learning Hubs, to both take books out and return them.

Please ask at the Learning Hub desk if you need any help with this.

Book Return Boxes 

The book return boxes can be used to return books when going into the Digital Learning Hub is not possible

They can be found at:-

• DVC

  • Digital Learning Hub in B block

• NNC

  • Bistro in A block

• Rotherham College

  • Eastwood Refectory

  • Wentworth Reception

• UCR

  • Outside the UCR Digital Learning Hub

  • UCR Reception

Booking items in advance (reserving items)

Using our Library Catalogue you can order items for collection

1. Search for the items you want on the college library catalogue

2. From the list on the right choose 'Place a reservation'

3. If you haven't already logged in, do so now.

4. Choose the learning hub you want to collect the items from the list, DVC, NNC or UCR.

5. Click 'Confirm reservation'

Congratulations that is all done, now just sit back and wait for the email saying it is ready for collection. (Please note this will come to your college email address.)

Once you receive the email, you have two weeks to call in to your chosen library and collect the item.
