Hyperspectral Image Visualization on RGB Color-Space

Visible images illustrate chominance information with high-spatial resolution and definition in a manner consistent with the human visual system. However, color images sufer from nighttime conditions due to insufficient luminance and reflectance. On the other hand, infrared images deliver disthingish details based on the radiation difference, which operates will in all-weather and all-day/night conditions. Therefore, it is reasonable to integrate these two types of images, which can fuse the advantages of thermal radiation-dependent information in infrared imagery and chominance details in visible imagery.

In this work, we comprehensively build the image visualization method for visible and infrared images with a Graphic User Interface (GUI) application. Also, we provide the selection of a color-space in fusing thermal radiation-dependent information into chominance color imaging components.

The application requires the MATLAB runtime.

GUI is available on both Windows and macOS operating systems.
