Since 1963, FOCA has been the voice of Ontario’s waterfront.

The Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations (FOCA) is the only province-wide advocacy organization solely dedicated to sustaining and enhancing the Ontario cottage experience.

FOCA represents the interests of those who live at the waterfront—whether seasonally or year-round—serving as a trusted resource and advocate for over 500 lake and road associations across Ontario. Their mandate is to support these communities through education that fosters healthy lands, lakes, and rivers, while also promoting responsible governance that aligns with their mission.

FOCA works collaboratively to identify and address the key issues facing waterfront communities. Through credible expertise, environmental stewardship, targeted programs and services, and a strong network of strategic partners, they continue to champion the long-term health and enjoyment of Ontario’s waterfronts.
