Overview

What is the Professional Learning Partner Guide?

Launched in August 2020, the Professional Learning Partner Guide (PLPG) provides school systems with a searchable database of national and local professional learning providers that have the expertise to support the adoption and implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).

How are organizations approved for the guide?

Professional learning (PL) organizations that successfully pass the three gateways below will be featured in the PLPG.

What are the steps in the application process?

Rivet Education's application process is completed in three phases:

  1. Eligibility Review, which evaluates Gateway 1.

  2. Guide Application, which evaluates Gateway 2 and Gateway 3. At this stage, providers are approved for the guide.

  3. Provider Profile, which collects non-evaluative information from providers for reporting on their profile page in the online PLPG.

When is the next review cycle?

Rivet Education will conduct review cycles twice per year—once in the summer and once in the winter. The next review cycle will take place July 2021 through February 2022.

  • Submit eligibility screener: October 15, 2021

  • Submit full application: December 17, 2021

  • Submit responses for partner profile: February 11, 2022

  • Online PLPG updated: February 2022

How long are providers approved for?

PL partners that are accepted to the guide will need to reapply every two years to ensure their profile page reflects their current services.
