The essay must be written in the language for which it is registered
You may not write on a text that you have studies in class
For category 1 essays, text(s) must have originally been written in the language A
For category 2 & 3 essays, you can only use a translated text when it's being compared with one that was originally written in the language A
Any essay studying a film automatically becomes a a category 3 essay
