Jennifer Jackson received her bachelor degree in music education from Vanguard University and a masters in music education from the American Band College in Ashland, OR.  Mrs. Jackson is in her 28th year of teaching and has taught band, orchestra and choir at the high school, middle school and elementary levels.  She has taught music in Orange USD, Irvine USD, and Capistrano USD and began teaching in Riverside USD in 2010.  Mrs. Jackson is very active in the band community having been an adjudicator for the All-Southern Middle School and High School honor bands and orchestras, served as the manager for the Junior High Jazz All Stars, served on the SCSBOA board of directors as secretary and VP of Elementary Music.  Mrs. Jackson is married to Pete Jackson, band director at John W. North High School in Riverside and they have a daughter Emma who is 17.
