About Me:

Hey! My name is Logan Tan, I am a senior at Martin Luther King High School and a prospective college wrestling athlete. To me, engineering is not only the forefront but also the foundation of change, a component in my pursuit to better the world we share—through community service, advocacy, and innovation, and, in the future, through a role in government, public service, or in aerospace engineering. This year, one of my favorite endeavors included the Riverside Talent Advocates initiative, aiming to combat the critical loss of human capital within Riverside, providing awareness, featuring success stories, building connections, and creating paid internships for our talented youth so they stay in Riverside. I have also become proficient in Multisum circuit design software, soldering, and using Arduino software in several projects. In the coming year, I hope to make an impact in my community as I self-learn and work alongside professionals to create something truly innovative for my Engineering Capstone Project.
