A message from Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. Geleng,
We are thrilled to announce the outstanding success of our Kids Heart Challenge Event! Thanks to the tremendous generosity and spirit of our school community, we raised a total of $12,397.05 for the American Heart Association. We are so proud of our students for their hard work and dedication to this important cause!
Looking ahead, March is filled with exciting events and opportunities for our students Including:
The JFK Read A Thon
Read Across America Day (TK-3rd Grade)
Career Day (4th- 6th Grade)
Scholastic Book Fair (please note: this is a cashless event—when the PTA sends out book fair information, please use the EWallet for purchases)
Open House—our students and staff are eager to showcase all they have been learning this year!
Culture & Climate Survey- We value your input and encourage you to fill out the RUSD Culture and Climate survey to provide feedback on how we can best serve our community. Please see more Information below on how to participate in the survey.
Spring Break is also coming up this month. We hope you have a safe and relaxing time with your family. If you plan to take an early or extended break, please request an independent study so your student can receive academic and attendance credit. Requests should be made with Ms. Kim in the office at least 5 days before your trip. CA Ed Code allows for up to 15 independent study days per school year.
Don't forget to update your clocks for Daylight Saving Time on March 8th. Please see below for more information on important dates this month. Thank you for your continued support and partnership!
