We are super excited to be participating in Empty The Shelters event with BISSELL Pet Foundation again!
Starting Friday, May 1st till Sunday, May 17th all animals in our are will have reduced adoption fees. This reduced fee event will include all cats and dogs at our shelter no matter the age or size! If you have been considering adoption now is the time! You can start your adoption process now by filling out an online application by filling out an adoption application online.
Our normal application and adoption process/policies will still apply for this event meaning approved applications are needed to adopt. All animals will also be up to date on all age appropriate veterinary care at the time of adoption.

SNAP Cat!
SNAP Cat!
SNAP Cat is a Spay/Neuter Assistance Program that is geared towards helping the community get their felines spayed/neutered.
Vouchers will be given to interested cat owners, and these vouchers will help offset the fees associated with the spay/neuter surgeries provided by veterinarians.
Cat owners can stop by the shelter at 460 Cliffwood Dr. in Prairie du Chien or call the shelter at 608-380-1559 to request a voucher(s) and the names of veterinarians participating in this program.

Have you ever thought of the many ways you can support Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter? There are a multitude of gift giving options that your life-long love for animals can benefit the animals in the shelter's care until they find their forever homes.
Legacy giving is one the ways to let everyone know that you want to support the shelter beyonf your life time. Your financial advisor long with your attorney can create a Legacy Gift, it's a simple as naming Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter in your will or trust.
Start by talking with you estate planning financial advisor and ask them about endowments, memorial tributes or donations that can be created to support the animals at RABAS. These can be a one time donation or it can be set up as a continuous donation.
Your Legacy Gift is tax deductible and this can qualify your estate for significant tax deductions. Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) organization. Creating a planned gift or donation can be very easy!
Cans for Critters!
Cans for Critters!
Cans for Critters is an ongoing fundraiser that we have all year round. Bags of aluminum cans (only pop cans, and beer cans please!) can be placed in the wire cage outside the shelter anytime.

Saturday & Sunday - Closed/By Appointment
Appointments outside of these hours can be made with advance notice, and an approved application. An application for adoption can always be filled out online under the adoption info tab.
