Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter is hosting a Chicken Q with Rooster Andy's Catering on May 23rd at Peoples State Bank located on Blackhawk Avenue in Prairie du Chien, Wi. We will be serving dinners from 11am - 5pm.

You can get your tickets early for $13, we usually sell out, so ordering a head of time is recommended! Walk ups on May 23rd will be $15. Your dinner will include 1/2 chicken, baked beans, potato salad, and a bun. 

Tickets can be bought at our shelter during open hours, or call us at 608-380-1559 to set up a specific time to pick up your tickets.

It's that time of year again! Shoe Drive time!

We've been getting calls, messages, and emails asking about when shoes can be dropped off at the shelter, and we are happy to say BRING THEM IN!

This years shoe drive will go till the middle of July this year, and as always we will take any style of shoe. Sandals, work boots, tennis shoes, baby shoes, slippers, etc.! As long as they are in good condition (no rips, holes, soles falling apart) we can take them.

Shoes can be dropped off at our shelter anytime,  and at these following locations: Tender Care Animal Hospital, Southwest Vet in PDC, Tractor Supply in PDC, Nelson Ace Hardware in PDC, No Bull Party Place in Seneca, and Pocket City Pub in McGregor.

Cans for Critters is an ongoing fundraiser that we have all year round. Bags of aluminum cans (only pop cans, and beer cans please!) can be placed in the wire cage outside the shelter anytime.
