Orientation was held on Friday Sept 11th, 2026 in the schoole cafeteria. We shared planned sessions for the year, including our first session for Hispanic Heritage Month! For our new volunteers, we went over what the program is about, the materials available and how to get started in your classrooms!

MEET THE MASTERS IS A FUN ART HISTORY AND ART APPRECIATION PROGRAM TO FAMILIARIZE CHILDREN WITH A WORLD OF ART
Volunteers introduce children to famous Master Artists and historical artwork via ready-to-go art presentation
Sessions include hands-on student art activity to learn about art elements and techniques.
Volunteers can visit the classroom 2-6 times per year (completely flexible!) with teacher coordination
The pre-made curriculum is based on a famous Artist from grade-level appropriate portfolios and approved by Broward County School District
Any one can Volunteer*. No Art Experience Required
*Must be an approved Broward County volunteer
