Welcome to 6th Grade!  

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the new school year! I am delighted to welcome you to 6th grade, a year full of new challenges, discoveries, and opportunities for growth. Whether I had the pleasure of teaching you in PDIA, had one of your siblings, or we are meeting for the first time, I am eager to begin this educational journey together.

As we start the year, we will focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and developing a growth mindset. When students feel safe, supported, and comfortable at school, their ability to learn and thrive greatly increases. A growth mindset encourages students to embrace challenges, explore different ways to solve problems, and view mistakes as valuable opportunities to learn.

My goal is to create a classroom where your child feels safe to take academic risks, collaborate with peers, and grow both academically and personally.
