Meet Mrs. Gerbino:
Welcome to 6th Grade! Hello, my name is Mrs. Sandy Gerbino. I teach sixth-grade math, science, and 6G Social Studies. This is my fifth year at Roosevelt Elementary School. I have over twenty years of experience teaching 5th-8th grade math and science. I am thrilled to be at River Edge!
My Bachelor of Science Degree is from Montclair State University, and I hold a certificate in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Mathematics 5-8. I have a Master's Degree in STEM Education from the American College of Education and a National Certification for STEM Teaching. I am also a mother of five adult children and have three grandchildren (a. I am also a former elementary school track coach and enjoy being outdoors. I love mathematics and science and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm in the classroom.
