ABOUT ME
I have been in public education since 2001. My first teaching job was at Bogota Public Schools, in my hometown! After Bogota, I switched schools to become a computer teacher at the Pompton Lakes Public School district. In 2007, my husband, Frank and I had our first child named Drew Alexander, and in 2008, had our second child named Dean Anthony! Once my babies were ready to go to school themselves, I became a Multimedia teacher in the Parsippany schools at Brooklawn and Central middle schools, teaching Multimedia and computer technology in grades 6-8, coaching teachers in instructional technology as well.
After 4 years, I received my supervisory certificate and Masters in Educational Leadership. With much excitement, I ventured to pursue an instructional technology coaching position closer to home in the River Edge Public School system, grades K-6, three school buildings, leading the teachers in professional development and guiding the teachers in differentiated technology. I love working with the teachers, students and administration at River Edge! #fortheloveofteachingREkids
