Book Projects

Fourth graders will have 2 book projects due during the school year.  You will be able to choose from various genres on each book project. If you need assistance in selecting a good book, please ask Mrs. Laskowski.

There are two parts to the book project.  

1. A brief summary including the title, author, the genre, the main characters, setting, and a couple of sentences describing either the theme or conflict (without the resolution!).

2. A project of some sort.  The diorama is often a favorite choice, but here are several other really fun ideas: 40 Creative Book Report Ideas for Students

• Biography

• Fairy tales

• Fantasy

• Animal Stories

 Due: April 17th. Genres to select from are 

• Newberry Medal and Honor Books (1980-Present)

• Historical Fiction 

• Humor

• Mystery

• Science Fiction
