 Parent volunteers play a vital role on our trip. Click here for a description of various volunteer opportunities.  If you are interested in joining us, please review the steps below to become an official RGS Grade 5 Caregiver Chaperone.
Once you are registered, you will be able to volunteer for other events and trips for grade 5 throughout the entire year.

 Step 1: Click on this link to register as a RGS Parent Volunteer/Field Studies Chaperone with Riverdale School District.   

Step 2: Complete this form to let Ms. Reece know your interest and volunteer position.
 

NOTE: If you are volunteering for an overnight cabin chaperone position, please also complete the following steps, per the district office:

Overnight Chaperones

Please NOTE: Fingerprint-Based Criminal History Verification is required for overnight chaperones. All overnight chaperones, employees, and contractors of the Riverdale School District are required to submit fingerprints to the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) for a Criminal History Verification.  To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, please follow these simple instructions:

1. Visit www.FieldprintOregon.com

2. Click on the “Schedule an Appointment” button.

3. Enter an email address under “New Users/Sign Up” and click the “Sign Up” button.

4. Follow the instructions for creating a Password and Security Question, then click “Sign Up and Continue.”

5. Enter the Fieldprint Code: FPRiverdaleSD51JVol

6. Enter your contact and demographic information, then schedule a fingerprint appointment at your chosen location.

7. At the end of the process, print the Confirmation Page.

8. Take the confirmation page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of identification.

Step 3: Await a confirmation email from Ms. Reece. 

Step 4: Attend the virtual caregiver volunteer information session prior to the trip. The date and time for this will be included in your confirmation email from Ms. Reece.
